Established in 1998, SAT Galilea is an example of transformation and adaptation to modern age. 150 members from Ocón Valley created a new Oil Mill in Galilea with innovative processing systems to revitalize the oil making market in one of the biggest producing areas of La Rioja. As well as olive milling for its members and for another 450 olive growers, SAT Galilea sells its oil under the brand ‘Trujal de Galilea’. Made from indigenous varieties of La Rioja, it has been one of the first oils from La Rioja that has become one of the most peculiar ones.
