Almazara Valle de Añamaza

Almazara Valle de Añamaza is the result of the commitment of 18 farmers from Cabretón, Valverde and Cervera del Río Alhama to increase the value of the olive trees, one of the main crops of Añamaza Valley. In 2008, they created the Oil Mill of Cabretón to sell the produced oil. Their olive oil ‘Pagos de Añamaza’ has the empeltre variety and is one of the most unusual oils in La Rioja. It is protected by PDO Aceite de La Rioja, Eco Farming and Biosphere Reserve brands. As well as producing quality oil, this Agricultural Transformation Society provides grinding services to third parties during the season.
